Ladies have you tried to get your husband or boyfriend to start a skincare regimen? I was able to get my husband to start a 3 step skincare regimen with Baxter of California. Who knew that I would project my obsession for skincare, onto my husband. My husband and I have been married for 2 years [as of Jan. 17th 2017] and together for over 5, and after getting married, I discovered that my husband was washing his face with body wash *face palm*. In his defense, the body washes sold to men are labeled, “Face + Body Wash” -_-, so he literally thought, that he should use it on his face and his body. My husband is a manly man, so when I suggested that he develop a skincare regimen, for his face, he said absolutely not. LOL. I asked him if he wanted to have wrinkles all over his face before 50, and I convinced him to try the Clinique for Men skincare line.
Surprise, Surprise, he actually enjoyed it and asked for more. Men, taking care of your skin is not just for women. I don’t understand why men aren’t taught to take care of their skin as well. I mean, it’s skin and you only get one to last a lifetime, so why not take care of it?
Since my husband enjoyed using the Clinique, I was UBER excited to see that Influenster wanted to send me some products from Baxter of California, for my husband to review. He received 3 products to try:
My husband’s thoughts on the above products sent from Baxter of California:
- My husband had no idea what in the world toner was and how to use it. After explaining to him how to use these products, he really liked them.
- My husband enjoyed the toner and thought it smelled nice. He has oily skin and said it helped with the oil and said his skin felt refreshed after washing and that his skin was really clean.
- He said the under eye complex worked, but has no idea how it worked and doesn’t understand what it was supposed to do lol. He couldn’t really explain it.
- He really liked the cream and said it kept his face balanced; it didn’t feel dry or greasy.
Overall, this was a interesting experience for my husband. I know he doesn’t care about fine lines and wrinkles and just wants to make sure his face is just clean. We are going to buy the toner, cream and try out their face wash. I am happy to say my husband has a basic 3 step skincare regimen.
