I planned an amazing Galentine’s Day event along with my BFF Shana Leigh. We wanted to celebrate our close girlfriends in style! Pink + Gold was the theme and we devoured delicious cupcakes, sipped wine + pink champagne, and snacked on a cheeseboard and jambalaya for the main course.
What is Galentine’s Day you ask? “Oh, it’s only the best day of the year. Every February 13th, Leslie Knope of the TV Show, Parks and Rec and her lady friends leave their husbands and their boyfriends at home and just kick it breakfast style. Ladies celebrating ladies. It’s like Lilith Fair, minus the angst. Plus, frittatas!” – source
Since Valentine’s Day fell during the week this year, we opted for celebrating our 2nd Annual Galentine’s Day, a few days later on Feb 18th.
- Pink Champagne
- Pink Chocolate Covered Strawberries
- Cookies + Cream & Strawberry Cupcakes
- Jambalaya + Salad
- Trap Music, Rhianna + Beyonce since we are co-presidents of the beyhive.
My Best Friend took care of ALL of the design and decor of the event. How cute were these pink and gold touches? She’s back there slaying in the kitchen preparing the delicious jambalaya in the first pic.

I love each and every one of these women! These are some of my best girlfriends and I was so happy to co-host this event, to celebrate how much they mean to us, and how it’s so important to celebrate each other.
